Early life and background
Paritosh Tripathi was born on 6 February 1988 in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. Raised in a family with roots in Patkhauli village, Gopalganj, Bihar, he completed his schooling at Rajkiya Madhya Vidyalaya in Bihar and later attended Prestige Tutorial Intermediate College in Kailashpuri, Deoria. He graduated from Shivaji College in New Delhi. His father, Raman Tripathi, worked as a head of department at a school, and his mother served as a government school teacher. He has a brother, Ashutosh Tripathi, and two sisters, Archana and Alpana Tripathi.

Tripathi showed an early interest in theatre. Around 2000 he joined two local theatre groups, one in Deoria and Eastern UP Rangasharan Theatre in Gorakhpur. While at college he founded the Vayan Theatre Group. His stage work earned recognition during his university years: his production of Bade Bhai Sahab, adapted from Munshi Premchand and directed by Tripathi, was honored with an award presented by then President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for the highest award-winning play at the University of Delhi.

Career
Tripathi’s on-screen career began with television. His first televised appearance was on the serial Salaam UP on ETV. He went on to participate in and later win the comedy reality show Hasi Ka Tadka in 2010, broadcast on Mahua TV. That success led to a variety of acting and hosting opportunities on Indian television.
