Early life and background

Park Sung-hoon was born on February 18, 1985, in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He attended Gwacheon Foreign Language High School and later studied acting and film at the Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts. During his third year of high school his interest shifted toward acting, and while at college he took part in a theatrical production every semester.
