Prerna Malhan was born on 7 April 1990 in New Delhi and grew up there. She completed her schooling at DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, New Delhi, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies in New Delhi. Her family includes her parents, Vinay and Dimple Malhan, and two younger brothers, Abhishek Malhan and Nischay Malhan, both of whom are known as content creators.

Career

Prerna’s professional journey began in content roles in New Delhi. In February 2014 she started as a content writer with Weblink India.Net Pvt. Ltd., a position she held for about ten months. Around the same period she worked as a Senior Content Developer at JMC Cyber Flavors ITES Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a role she carried out from April 2014 until March 2018. From May 2016 to January 2020 she served as an editor for the wedding-focused site Indian Wedding Site.

After several years in corporate content and editorial work, Prerna left to pursue travel blogging full time. She launched the Wanderers Hub YouTube channel in 2016 and later added two companion channels: Wanderers Hub Shorts for short-form clips and Wanderers Live for reaction and game-streaming videos. Her channel lineup features travel guides, food and challenge videos, pranks and a variety of lifestyle content.
