Early life and backgroundRabya Kulsoom was born in Karachi and raised there. She completed a bachelor's degree in dentistry from Dow Medical College (Dow University of Health Sciences) in 2014 and worked briefly as a general practitioner before deciding to change careers. For a short period she taught at a Pakistan Air Force School in Korangi Creek.

Rabya began her on-screen journey with a music video for the song "Pyar Hua" (2016), sung by her husband, Rehan Nazim. She moved into television with her debut in the serial Zamani Manzil Kay Maskharay (2017) and followed that with small roles in shows such as Dhund (2017), Mera Aangan (2017) and Ishq Bepanah (2018).
