Early life and background

Raghav Binani was born on 9 April 1996 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Raised in a middle-class family with roots in Bikaner, Rajasthan, he completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) at The Bhawanipur Education Society College in Kolkata. After finishing his studies he moved to Mumbai to pursue acting full time.

Career

Binani made his television debut in 2018 with the Sony SAB series Mangalam Dangalam, appearing as Hemanth. Over the next several years he built a steady body of work on television, taking roles such as Rahul in Kumkum Bhagya (2019–2020) and Shubham in Kaatelal & Sons (2020). In 2021 he returned to Sony Entertainment Television for season 3 of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, again portraying a character named Rahul.

Alongside television, Binani has worked in web series and digital projects. He played Prasad Ojha in the ALTBalaji crime thriller Bicchoo Ka Khel (2020) and appeared as Varun in Flipkart Video’s Crime Stories: Khoj Apradhi Ki (2021). In 2022 he was seen in Amazon Prime Video series including Guilty Minds and Mind the Malhotras 2.

Binani has also established a presence in Hindi cinema with supporting parts in multiple films. He had a small role in Shakuntala Devi (2020) and appeared in Runway 34 (2022) as a news reporter.
