Comicstaan (2018) brought him wide recognition: Dua finished as the first runner-up on the show, which helped establish him as a leading voice among India’s newer generation of comedians.

Earlier achievements include wins at NDTV Rising Stars of Comedy and Comedy Central’s Chuckle Hunt in 2016. Following Comicstaan, Dua toured nationally with fellow competitor Nishant Suri in a joint show that showcased each artist’s short sets.
