Early life and background
Rahul Kumar Jungral hails from Gurdaspur in Punjab, India. He attended Government Senior Secondary School in Gurdaspur and went on to Punjabi University in Patiala, where he completed a Master’s degree in Theatre and Television. From a young age he trained in martial arts and achieved a black belt before switching focus to other interests. He also spent time pursuing cricket during his youth before moving back toward performance and formal education.

Career
Rahul began his performing career in theatre after joining the university theatre program in Patiala, appearing in a number of stage plays. His early training included a one-year stint with the Punjab Police Department following graduation, after which friends encouraged him to try modelling and acting full time.

His on-screen debut came in television with the Punjabi serial Kach Diyan Wangan in 2011. He later appeared in the Hindi TV series Man Mein Hai Vishwas in 2016 where he played one of the leads. On the film side, Rahul made his Pollywood debut with Police in Pollywood (2014) and went on to appear in several Punjabi films, including Sardaarji 2 (2016), Laatu (2018) and Uda Aida (2019).

Rahul gained wider attention in 2017 for his portrayal of Gullu in the Punjabi film Sardar Mohammad. He has also appeared in music-related projects, including a 2019 appearance in the Punjabi song "Har Ghar Di Kahaani" by Tanishq Kaur.
