Rajeev Khandelwal was born on 16 October 1975 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Raised in a family with an army background—his father is Col. C.L. Khandelwal—he completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jaipur and later earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad.
