Early life and background

Reem Sameer Shaikh was born on 8 September 2002 in Oman and later moved with her family to Mumbai. She grew up there and attended Gyankendra School in Lokhandwala, Mumbai. Raised in a Muslim household, Reem completed her formal education through high school.

She started working very young: her first paid assignment was a catalogue photoshoot at age six, which marked the beginning of a childhood career in front of the camera.

Career

Reem’s screen career began when she was a child actor. Her television debut as a young performer came in the show Devi...Neer Bhare Tere Naina, for which she won recognition early on, including a New Talent Award in 2010. Over the years she built a steady presence on Indian television, appearing in a variety of serials including Hum Aapke Ghar Mein Rehte Hain, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Me Aajji Aur Sahib, Na Bole Tum...
