Renuka Bishnoi was born on 1 September 1973 in Sangaria, Rajasthan. Raised in a family that later made its home in Adampur in Hisar district, she attended Vidya Devi Jindal School in Hisar and completed a B.Com degree from Government College for Girls, Chandigarh. Her listed hobbies include reading, listening to music and cooking; she follows a vegetarian diet and maintains an interest in sports such as badminton and basketball. Career

Renuka Bishnoi entered electoral politics in 2011 when she won the Haryana assembly by-election from the Adampur constituency on a Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) ticket. That vacancy had opened after her husband, Kuldeep Bishnoi, resigned his MLA seat upon becoming a Member of Parliament. She successfully defended the Adampur seat in the 2014 Haryana assembly elections, defeating the INLD candidate Umed S. Lohan by a margin of 14,652 votes.

Over the years she has been associated with multiple political parties. Her affiliations include Haryana Janhit Congress (from 2011 until April 2016), the Indian National Congress (April 2016 to August 2022) and, most recently, the Bharatiya Janata Party, which she joined in August 2022.
