Rhea Sharma was born on 7 August 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and grew up in a middle-class family. She completed her graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Sharma is Indian by nationality and was raised in a Hindu household. She lists travel, music and shopping among her hobbies and is fluent in Hindi, English and Marathi.

Career

Sharma started her acting career on television in 2014, making her debut as Nishi Khanna in the Sony TV drama Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar. Early in her career she appeared in episodic shows such as Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Laal Ishq and took on the role of Gauri Shukla in Kahani Hamari… Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki.

Her profile rose after she played Kanak Rathi in Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji.
