Early life and background

Richa Rathore was born on 29 January 1993 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, into a Pahadi family. She grew up in Shimla and attended Loreto Convent Tara Hall for school. For higher education she studied at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) in Waknaghat, Solan, where she completed a Bachelor of Technology degree.

Soon after finishing her undergraduate studies, Richa relocated to Mohali in Punjab and worked for a multinational company for about two years. She has described Chandigarh as a place she considers a second home and has spoken warmly about its parks and atmosphere.
