Richa Sharma was born on 6 August 1964 in Delhi, India. Her family moved to New York when she was a child, and she spent much of her upbringing there. While studying architecture in New York she maintained a strong interest in cinema, which led to an early meeting with filmmaker Dev Anand that eventually opened the door to a film career.

Career

Richa made her Bollywood debut in the 1985 film Hum Naujawan after being signed by Dev Anand. She worked as an actress and model. Physical details listed during her life describe her as about 1.65 m (5'5") tall, weighing around 60 kg, with black hair and black eyes.
