Ridhima Taneja Biography

Ridhima Taneja is an Indian child artist and model from Ludhiana, Punjab. Beginning stage and modelling work as a toddler, she transitioned into television

Early life and background
Ridhima Taneja, often called Ridhi, was born on 6 November 2010 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. She grew up in Ludhiana and attended Shamrock Christian School there. Raised in a Hindu household by her parents Naveen and Sakshi Taneja, Ridhima is an only child.

Her interest in performing began very early. By the age of two she was learning basic acting and how to walk the ramp, activities taught to her by her parents. Those early lessons set the stage for a childhood spent in front of audiences and cameras.

Career
Ridhima’s onstage and modelling experience started when she was still very young. She began formal modelling in 2014 and soon started competing in school and local fashion events. One of her early achievements came at a Rising Stars Playway School fashion show in Ludhiana, where she earned a prize. Over the following years she became a frequent participant in children’s fashion shows; by 2017 she had taken part in more than 30 such events and reportedly won 25 of them.

Alongside fashion shows, Ridhima developed a presence as a child comedian and live stage performer. She appeared in the comedy program Chhote Miyan Dhaakad in 2017, and took part in various live performances that showcased her comedic timing.

Television work followed her success on the stage. In 2017 she made her television debut as a child artist in the series Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, portraying the character Deepika Somani. That same year she also appeared as a guest on the sets of national television programs including Bigg Boss 10 and Rising Star, broadening her exposure beyond regional events and stage shows.

Public profile
Ridhima’s public image is built around her stage work and early television appearances. She is known for her dark brown eyes, black hair, and energetic stage presence. Outside of performing, she enjoys dancing and travelling. Among her favorite things, she has said she likes chocolates and admires actress Katrina Kaif.

Latest updates
By 2017 Ridhima had transitioned from local modelling and stage competitions into television roles and guest appearances on larger entertainment programs. Her earliest TV credit is from 2017 for Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, and she continued to appear in live events and comedy performances around that time.

Ridhima remains a young performer with roots in Ludhiana’s school and local entertainment scene, carrying early achievements in modeling and stage comedy into her television work.
