Riythvika was born Manda Kasayam on 5 August 1992 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Raised in the city she calls home, she completed her schooling at Springfield Matric Higher Secondary School and Dr. K K Nirmala Girls' Higher Secondary School before attending Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.

From a young age she was drawn to performance, acting out scenes and dance routines. While still in college she took part in short films and actively sought opportunities in feature films by sharing portfolios with filmmakers.

Career
Riythvika made her feature film debut in 2013 with a role in Paradesi. Early work included parts in films such as Ninaithathu Yaaro and Azhagu Kutti Chellam. Her performance as Mary in the 2014 film Madras brought her significant attention and critical appreciation. Following that, she went on to appear in productions including Anjala, Oru Naal Koothu, Iru Mugan and Sigai.

Alongside her film work, Riythvika took part in television reality programming. In 2018 she entered the Bigg Boss Tamil house as a contestant and emerged as the winner of that season.
