Romsha Singh was born on 21 November 1994 in Pune, Maharashtra. Raised in that city, she developed an interest in dance early and began competing in school-level events from the age of five. She completed her undergraduate studies at Jai Hind College in Mumbai.

Career

Romsha built her career as a dancer and choreographer, developing a reputation in India for Afro-Jazz dance. In 2017 she travelled to the United States to take part in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Arizona as a member of the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company, the group she joined that same year. At TLCDC she progressed into roles including assistant rehearsal director, senior performer, and instructor.
