After her judo career she transitioned to mixed martial arts, where she won titles including the Strikeforce Bantamweight crown and became the UFC Bantamweight World Champion. During her MMA run she earned repeated honors, including Female Fighter of the Year awards for 2012, 2013 and 2014, and she has been recognized with induction honors such as a UFC Hall of Fame listing and entry into the International Sports Hall of Fame.
Rousey later crossed into professional wrestling. She made a memorable WWE debut at WrestleMania in 2015 and signed a full-time WWE contract in January 2018 at the Royal Rumble.
