Roshni Walia was born on 20 September 2001 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, into a Sikh family. Raised in a middle-class household, she grew up close to her maternal grandfather, who served in the Indian Army. Her parents are Vipul Walia and Sweety Walia, and she has a sister named Noor Walia.
