Pandey’s first notable work as a body double came in the 1998 Hindi film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, where he doubled for Salman Khan. Over the years he is reported to have worked as Salman Khan’s body double in more than fifty films, including high-profile titles such as Dabangg, Tubelight, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Beyond his body-double assignments, Pandey also pursued on-screen roles. He appeared in the Hindi film Amir Salman Shahrukh (2016) in which he portrayed Salman Khan, and he took roles in several other productions: Mafia Bigg Boss (2017), Wo Kaun (2017), and multiple Bhojpuri films including Sanki Daroga (2018), Flat No. 009 (2018), Luckywood (2020), Lollywood (2019) and Raja Doli Leke Aaja (2021). He was 50 years old at the time of his death.
