Early life and backgroundSaint Von Colucci was born on December 28, 2000, in Quebec, Canada. He held Canadian nationality and had a mixed family background with a Canadian father and a Portuguese mother. Because his parents relocated for work, he spent parts of his childhood in different countries and became proficient in five languages: English, French, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.
He developed an early interest in performance, working as a child actor and commercial model before turning his focus more fully to music. Saint pursued formal training in music production at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Career
Saint Von Colucci’s creative life blended writing, singing and acting. Early in his career he wrote songs for South Korean artists and was influenced by K-pop culture, which contributed to his decision to relocate to Seoul in 2019 to work in the Korean music and entertainment industry.
Under the stage name DJ Saint he released his debut EP, Hug Me If I Cry, in June 2022. The three-track record included the songs Kill and Die, Heartless, and I Don’t Bleed and explored themes of heartbreak and betrayal. In August 2022 he released three additional songs, Oppa, Pretty Lies, and Dangerously, which were issued in both the United States and South Korea.
In acting, Saint made his drama debut in Pretty Lies, appearing as an international student. Production on the series began in June 2022 and wrapped in December 2022; the series was scheduled for streaming in December 2023. At the time of his death he was working as a trainee actor with a major South Korean entertainment company and was preparing two more EPs titled T1KT0K H1GH SCH00L and I see demons at night.

In interviews he described feeling financial pressure and insecurity, and discussed the compromises he made to continue pursuing his art in a foreign market. His management history included a deal with IGB PLUS in 2021 and a later move to City Boys Management in March 2022. His agent since March 2022, Eric Blake, later spoke about Saint’s struggles with facial insecurity and his efforts to change his appearance to fit industry expectations.
Personal life and health
Saint was unmarried. He stood approximately 183 cm (6 feet) tall, weighed about 80 kg (176 lbs), and had blue eyes and dark blonde hair. His zodiac sign was Capricorn.
In November 2022 he underwent jaw implant surgery. In April 2023 he returned to the operating room to have those implants removed; complications during that procedure led to a rapid decline in his condition. He was taken into intensive care and died in Seoul on April 23, 2023, at the age of 22.
