Mansoor Aslam Khan Niazi, known professionally as Sami Khan, was born on 6 July 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan. He grew up in Lahore and attended Divisional Public School there before enrolling at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, where he completed a degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering.

Career

Sami Khan began his on-screen work while still a student, auditioning to host a television show during his final year of engineering. He launched his acting career with roles in both film and television: his film debut came in 2004 in Salakhain, in which he played a character named Mansoor, and his television debut followed in 2005 with the PTV drama Dil Se Dil Tak, playing Abdul.

Over the years Khan has built a body of work across Urdu TV dramas and feature films. Television credits named in his career include Jinnah Ke Naam (2007), Love, Life Aur Lahore (2010), Ishqaaway (2015), Saraab (2020), and Grey (2023).
