Sanchana Natarajan was born on 31 December 1995 in Chennai. Raised in the city she still calls home, she completed her schooling at CSI Jessie Moses School and went on to study at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women. Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication followed by an MBA in Marketing. She is the only child of her parents; her mother’s name is Gowri Natarajan.

Career

Sanchana began her career in the entertainment industry as a model. Early runway work included appearances for regional choreographers and designers, and she competed in pageants such as Miss South India in 2012 and Femina Miss India Tamil Nadu in 2017, where she finished as second runner-up. She has walked at events including Madras Couture Fashion Week.

Her on-screen career started in television. In 2010 she appeared on Star Vijay’s college drama Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kalloori Sallai, playing the character Sanjana.
