Santhi Mayadevi was born on 29 June 1990 in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala. She completed her schooling at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Nedumangad and went on to study English Literature at Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram, finishing that course in 2008. She then earned a law degree from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, completing her legal studies in 2011.
