Early life and backgroundSapna Sikarwar was born on 29 January 1983 in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her schooling in Ratlam and later enrolled in an acting course at the Sagar Film and TV Academy in Baroda, Gujarat. While still a student she began receiving acting offers and left the course before completion. She trained in dance and won the title of Miss Ratlam in 2001.
Career
Sapna began her television career with a role on the comedy series F.I.R., which aired on Sony SAB in 2006. Over the years she has become known for comic performances and supporting roles on Hindi television.
She gained wider recognition for playing the lead character Kashmira Agarwal on Sony SAB’s 2016 comedy series May I Come in Madam?. In 2020 she appeared as Inspector Amarjyoti “Amar” Bharati on the Star Bharat series Excuse Me Maadam. The following year she joined the cast of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan on And TV in a supporting role as Bimlesh Prasad Singh, the sister-in-law of the central character Happu.
Beyond television, Sapna has acted in two Gujarati films. She has expressed an interest in playing a supernatural role, describing a ghost character as a dream role, and has said she aspires to launch a production company to help aspiring and struggling actors.
