Saurabh Raj Jain was born on 1 December 1985 in New Delhi, India. Raised in the city where he also attended CSKM Public School, he went on to pursue higher education at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi and later at Symbiosis International University in Pune. He holds a degree in Computer Applications and an MBA. Though born into a Jain family, he has followed Buddhism since his teenage years.

Career

Saurabh began acting while still young: his first television appearance came during his college years on the show Remix. After that early break he paused his acting work for about two years to focus on his studies. He returned to television and gradually built a profile that led to his breakthrough role as Anand in the serial Parichay in 2011.
