Her cinematography on the short film Kramasha, which she shot as a thesis project while at FTII, brought her national recognition. Kramasha also received international festival honors and a prize at the Mumbai International Film Festival. Following that achievement, she worked on a range of feature films, ad films and documentaries, with titles in her filmography including Phoonk (2008), 404: Error Not Found (2011), Hawaizaada (2015), Ventilator (2016) and Devi (2020).

Her work has been repeatedly acknowledged by the National Film Awards. She won the National Award for Best Cinematography for Kramasha and later received another National Award and a Rajat Kamal for Best Cinematography for Sonsi, a short film she directed in 2020.
