Early life and background

Sehban Azim was born on 26 February 1986 in Delhi, India. Raised in a family with strong literary roots, several members of his family have been involved in writing and literature. He attended Apeejay School in Delhi and later enrolled at Dyal Singh College, though he did not complete his college education. He also completed a computer course and worked as a certified computer engineer early in his professional life.

During his college days he undertook small jobs such as promoter and coordinator. He later moved to Mumbai for work as a computer professional at Wipro before opting to pursue a career in modelling and acting.

Career

Sehban began his career in the entertainment industry as a model, appearing in print campaigns for brands including TVS Scooter, TVS Victor, Indigo Nation, MakeMyTrip.com and Levi’s. He transitioned to acting with screen roles in short films and feature films as well as on television.

One of his earliest screen credits is the short film Stations, which won recognition at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala and received three National Film Awards. On television, Sehban’s credited debut came with Dill Mill Gayye: Season 2, in which he played Dr. Yuvraj Oberoi.
