Shakib Al Hasan was born on 24 March 1987 in Magura, Khulna, Bangladesh. Raised in Magura, he attended Bangladesh Krira Shiksha Pratisthan before continuing his studies at the American International University-Bangladesh, where he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is the son of Khondoker Masroor Reza and Shirin Reza and has one sister.
