Motopaws also engages in animal-rights advocacy and public awareness work. By 2023 Motopaws had taken orders from four countries and was active in around twenty Indian cities.

He also worked as a freelance author for HarperCollins Publishers India beginning in December 2020 and co-authored the book I Came Upon a Lighthouse: A Short Memoir of Life with Ratan Tata, published in January 2021.

In September 2022 he founded The Goodfellows, an organisation focused on reducing loneliness among senior citizens by recruiting volunteer companions from diverse backgrounds. He was appointed director of the Advanced Veterinary Care Foundation on 18 January 2023. In May 2022 he became general manager at the Office of RNT at the Tata Group. In January 2025 he was appointed General Manager and Head of Strategic Initiatives at Tata Motors; his employment and payroll were aligned to Tata Motors from that date.
