Early life and backgroundShanvi Srivastava was born on 8 December 1993 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Raised in a family with ties to the arts, she attended Children College in Azamgarh before moving to Mumbai for higher studies. Shanvi completed a B.Com from Thakur College of Science and Commerce and later earned an MBA. Career
Shanvi began her film career in Telugu cinema, making her acting debut in 2012 with the film Lovely, in which she played the role of Lavanya. Over the following years she expanded her work across multiple South Indian film industries. In Kannada cinema she debuted with Chandralekha (2014) as Aishwarya/Aishu, and went on to appear in a number of notable Kannada films including Masterpiece (2015), Sundaranga Jaana (2016), Tarak (2017), The Villain (2018), Geetha (2019) and Kasthuri Mahal (2022).
Her Telugu film credits also include titles such as Rowdy (2014) and Pyar Mein Padipoyane (2014). Shanvi made her Malayalam film debut in 2022 with Maha Veeryar, playing the character Devayani. She has also worked on television projects, appearing in the Chinese drama series Ye Tian Zi (also known as The Dark Lord) in 2018 where she portrayed an Indian princess; for that role she learned Chinese to fulfil the part.
Across her career she has modelled for designers and jewellery brands and has been associated with charitable work: she is involved with the Kalisu Foundations, an organisation focused on providing education to underprivileged children.
