Sharanya Pradeep was born on 17 May 1992 in Nirmal, Kuntala, in the Nizamabad district of Telangana. Raised in the region she also lists Nizamabad as her hometown. She attended Nirmala Hrudaya School in Subhash Nagar, Nizamabad. Her parents are Naveen Goud and Shailaja Goud, and she has two siblings: a brother, Sourab Goud, and a sister, Prayaga Goud.

Sharanya began her professional life as a television news anchor, working for local Telugu news channels. She became better known after anchoring the Telugu show Dhum Dham on T News and later appeared as an anchor on the Teenmaar News program on V6 News Telugu. Her on-screen presence as a presenter helped her transition into acting.

Her film debut came in 2017 with the Telugu feature Fidaa, in which she portrayed Renuka, the older sister of the film’s female lead. That role brought broader recognition and a Filmfare nomination in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) category.
