Sharvari Wagh was born on 14 June 1996 in Mumbai and grew up in a Maharashtrian family. She completed her schooling at The Dadar Parsee Youths Assembly High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Ruparel College, Mumbai. From a young age she showed an interest in the performing arts, starting modelling at 16 and taking part in the Clean & Clear Fresh Face contest in 2013, which she won.

Career

Wagh’s early professional experience combined modelling, training and behind-the-scenes film work. After winning the Fresh Face contest she appeared in a number of television commercials. She also completed a nine-month acting course at Jeff Goldberg’s Studio and attended weekend theatre workshops to deepen her craft.

Before moving fully in front of the camera, she worked as an assistant director on several Bollywood projects, including Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Bajirao Mastani (2015), and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). Her onscreen break came in 2020 when she debuted in the web series The Forgotten Army- Azaadi Ke Liye. The role followed an audition process organised by casting director Mukesh Chhabra and director Kabir Khan.
