Shehla Rashid Shora was born in 1988 and raised in the Habba Kadal neighborhood of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Her family includes her father, Abdul Rashid Shora, her mother Zubaida Shora who worked as a nurse at the SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar, and an elder sister named Asma. Shehla completed her undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Srinagar.
