Sherfane Eviston Rutherford was born on 15 August 1998 in Enmore, Guyana. Raised in the same village that he later represented in early cricket, Rutherford attended Annandale Secondary School and began playing organized cricket as a child. Career

Rutherford is a left‑handed batter who bowls right‑arm fast‑medium and is best known for his work as an all‑rounder across formats and leagues.
