Sherlyn Chopra was born Mona Chopra on 11 February 1987 in Hyderabad, Telangana. Raised in a household with mixed religious roots—her father Christian and her mother Muslim—she attended Stanley Girls High School in Hyderabad and later studied at Saint Ann’s College for Women in Secunderabad.
