Shivlekh Singh was born in 2005 in Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, India. His family later made their home in Mumbai, where he had been living for about ten years. He attended Seven Eleven Scholastic School in Maharashtra. Shivlekh’s parents are Shivendra Singh and Lekhna Singh, the latter described as an educationist.

Shivlekh worked as a child actor on Indian television. Over the course of his brief career he appeared in a number of serials, including Sasural Simar Ka, Sankatmochan Hanuman, Khidki, Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se, Agnifer, Akbar Birbal and the TV series Kesari Nandan. He also took part in ZEE TV’s reality program India’s Best Draamebaaz, which showcased young acting talent.
