Shreyas Mendiratta Biography

Shreyas Mendiratta is an Indian actor, social media influencer and digital content creator from New Delhi. He rose to prominence during the 2020 lockdown,

Early life and background
Shreyas Mendiratta grew up in New Delhi, where an early love of humour and performance shaped his path. As a child he devoured comic books and began collecting jokes, a habit that helped him become known as the class clown. That early enjoyment of making people laugh led him toward theatre and performing arts during his school years.

He attended Delhi Public School R. K. Puram, where he joined the school’s theatre society, Expressions Theatre Club, and took part in intra‑school, inter‑school and national competitions. He first performed on stage in Class 6 and later started learning guitar in Class 9, discovering an interest in music and a vocal ability he would incorporate into his digital work. After Class 10 he chose the science (medical) stream and continued to balance creative pursuits with academic goals.

As of 2023, Shreyas is pursuing an MBBS at SGT Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Gurugram. During his time there he was named Mr Fresher 2019, reflecting involvement in college life alongside his studies.

Career
Shreyas built an online presence by combining music and comedy. He established a YouTube channel and Instagram page where he posted guitar covers, music videos and, later, short-form comedic content. Prior to the COVID‑19 lockdown he had a modest following on Instagram, but his reach expanded significantly during the lockdown period of 2020 as his humorous reels and short comedy clips found a wider audience.

In 2021 Shreyas appeared in a television advertisement for the mobile gaming platform MPL. That year he also became a BOI Recognized Creator, having completed the Born On Instagram program for digital content creators.

He made his digital acting debut in 2022 with the web series The Secret App, produced by Global Actors Group and PencilBox Films. In addition to acting, he has written, sung and produced original music — including a song titled Kalakaar for Global Actors Group — and trained in acting and film at the Global Actors Group drama school in New Delhi. His creative work is managed by the influencer marketing agency Creators Gram.

Public profile
Shreyas is known on social platforms under the name GudBoi Mendi and maintains an active Instagram account. His public persona blends comedic sketches, musical performances and dance; he is described as a singer and a skilled dancer as well as an actor and content creator. Physically, he is listed at approximately 175 cm (1.75 m or 5'9") with black hair and black eyes.

Personal life and family
Shreyas was born and raised in New Delhi. He is unmarried. His father is named Lalit Mendiratta; his mother’s name is not publicly listed in the available information. He has two sisters. Details about his age and any romantic relationships are not publicly known.
