Shrikant Jadhav was born on 17 September 1995 in the village of Dahigaon in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. He grew up in a family where kabaddi and wrestling were the dominant local sports, and he began playing kabaddi while still at school. Financial challenges in his family did not stop him from practicing regularly; his efforts at district-level competitions brought him recognition in his village.

While studying in the ninth class, Jadhav moved from Ahmednagar to Mumbai. At 18 he earned selection to the Maharashtra state kabaddi team and represented the state at national competitions. His performances at state level led to professional training at SAI in Kandivali, Mumbai, which helped prepare him for the professional ranks.

Jadhav is a professional kabaddi player who primarily operates as a raider. He is noted for his speed on the mat and frequently uses the toe-touch as a signature technique. Early in his professional journey he was signed for the Pro Kabaddi League’s second season by Jaipur Pink Panthers.

After his initial IPL signing he joined the Bengal Warriors for PKL Season 3, where he accumulated 10 raid points across five matches before suffering a shoulder injury that sidelined him for almost a year. On his return in Season 4 with Bengal Warriors he managed seven raid points in five matches, a period that ended with the Warriors releasing him.

Jadhav revived his PKL career by joining U Mumba for Season 5, putting in a much stronger showing with 86 raid points in 19 matches. The UP Yoddha signed him for Season 6 and retained him for Season 7. Across those two seasons he became a consistent contributor: in Season 6 he played 25 matches for 141 raid points and registered five Super 10s; in Season 7 he recorded 148 raid points in 22 matches. He remained with UP Yoddha through Season 8 in 2021.
