Early life and background

Siddharth Nigam was born on 13 September 2000 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Raised by his mother after his father's death, he grew up alongside an older brother, Abhishek Nigam, who is also an actor. Siddharth attended Khelgaon Public School in Allahabad and later enrolled at Thakur College of Science and Commerce in Mumbai.

From a young age he trained in gymnastics and competed at the national level. At the 58th National School Games in Pune he won a gold medal on the parallel bars and a silver medal on the high bar. He has cited action stars such as Jackie Chan as an inspiration for his athletic style.

Career

Nigam began his on-screen career as a child model and appeared in a television advertisement for Bournvita in 2011. That early commercial exposure led to a small role in the 2013 film Dhoom 3, in which he played the young versions of the twin characters Sahir and Samar.

Following his film debut, he established himself on television. A breakthrough came with the historical drama Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, for which he received several awards recognizing his work as a young actor. He went on to play roles in other period and mythological television series including Peshwa Bajirao, Chandra Nandini, and portrayals in shows such as Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani. Siddharth also headlined the fantasy series Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga and appeared in the superhero-tinged show Hero – Gayab Mode On.

His filmography includes the role of young Munna in Munna Michael (2017) and a part in the 2023 Hindi film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He has additionally appeared in several music videos and released audio work of his own: in 2022 he was credited as a singer and lyricist for the song "Tum Mili."

Beyond acting in scripted projects, Siddharth has taken part in reality television. He competed on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 9 as a contestant and has made guest appearances on a number of Indian reality and variety programs including Comedy Nights Bachao, Kitchen Champion, Bigg Boss 15, and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.
