Sohail D Biography

Sohail D (Sohail Shaikh), known as Sohu, is an Indian social media influencer and fitness entrepreneur from Mumbai. He rose to prominence as a TikTok star,

Early life and background
Sohail Shaikh was born on 1 April 1997 in Mumbai. Raised in the city he still calls home, Sohail completed his schooling at The Little Flower’s High School, Mumbai, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Commerce. He follows Islam, and he is known to his friends and followers by the nickname “Sohu.” Sohail has an older brother, Aaqs Shaikh.

Career
Sohail began building an online presence as a creator on TikTok, where he amassed a very large following before the platform was banned in India in 2020. After the ban, he transitioned to other short-video platforms and Instagram, where he continued to grow his audience and produce reels and fitness-focused content.

Beyond social media, Sohail has formal credentials in the fitness field: he is a certified gym instructor and a nutritionist. In 2020 he launched his own fitness venture, Sohail D Fitness Centre (also referred to as Sohail, The Fitness Gym), a project he described as a long-held dream brought to life.

Television and collaborations
Sohail made his television debut in 2022 as a contestant on Splitsvilla Season 14 on MTV, broadening his exposure beyond social platforms. Over time he has collaborated with and promoted films featuring several well-known Indian actors, and he has worked alongside or interacted with celebrities including Hrithik Roshan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Hina Khan, Nora Fatehi, Riteish Deshmukh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Millind Gaba.

Public profile
Sohail’s early internet days included a period of heavy criticism; he has spoken about receiving substantial negative feedback in the beginning and says he learned to ignore it rather than engage. His content often highlights fitness routines and post-workout imagery, reflecting his training and business interests. He also wears a pendant bearing the letter “D,” a small personal trademark in his public appearances.

Personal life
Sohail is unmarried. Publicly reported information identifies Bhavi Chandiramani as someone he has been linked with romantically. His parents’ names are not widely reported in the available material.

Latest updates
In 2022 Sohail continued to expand his profile by appearing on national television and maintaining active engagement on Instagram and other short-video platforms. He has expressed interest in pursuing acting opportunities for both TV and film, a plan that was delayed previously by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Outlook
Sohail D has positioned himself at the intersection of fitness entrepreneurship and digital influence. With a background that includes substantial early success on short-form video platforms, a certified fitness credential, and a gym of his own, he has diversified from purely social-media-based work into in-person business and television projects. His collaborations with established industry figures have helped to raise his visibility as he pursues further opportunities in entertainment.
