Sri Satya (Bigg Boss Telugu 6) Biography

Model and actress Sri Satya, born Mangalampalli Sri Satya, is a Telugu television and film performer from Vijayawada. She began in pageants, moved into ads

Early life and background

Mangalampalli Sri Satya was born on 29 June 1997 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Raised in a middle-class household, she developed an interest in performing and modelling at an early age. Her family includes her father, M. Durga Srinivas Prasad, a businessman, and her mother, M. Lalitha; she also has a sister. Sri Satya has ties to the musical family of Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna.

As a teenager she relocated to Hyderabad to pursue opportunities in modelling and acting, setting the stage for work across print advertising, television serials and films.

Career

Sri Satya's first public success came through beauty pageants. In 2015 she won the Miss Vijayawada title and the following year secured the Miss Photogenic subtitle at Miss Andhra Pradesh. These pageant appearances opened doors to commercial modelling and ramp shows, and she was featured in print advertisements for jewellery brands such as Joyalukkas and Krishna Jewellers.

Her onscreen career began with a small role in the 2016 Telugu film Nenu Sailaja. She went on to appear in the feature Godari Navvindi (2019) and acted in short films including Love Sketch (2016) and Tharunam (2017). On television, Sri Satya's credits include the serial Ninne Pelladatha (2018) and other serials such as Muddha Mandaram (2018), Attarintlo Akka Chellellu (2019) and Trinayani (2019).

Expanding into digital content, she appeared in the web series Thondara Padaku Sundara Vadhana, featuring in both its first season in 2021 and the second season in 2022. Sri Satya has also taken part in reality programming: she was a contestant on Zee Telugu's Super Queen in December 2021, has appeared on Super Family, and in 2022 entered the house as a contestant on Bigg Boss Telugu 6.

Public profile

Physically, Sri Satya is listed at approximately 167 cm (about 5'6") and 55 kg, with black hair and black eyes. She follows a non-vegetarian diet and has two tattoos on her left forearm. Personal interests cited in her profile include travel, adventure sports, riding motorcycles—she is known to enjoy Royal Enfield bikes—and caring for her pet dog named Whisky. Her favourite actor is listed as Ram Pothineni, and she enjoys butter chicken and the colour white.

Her family reportedly had mixed reactions when she chose a career in acting, though her parents supported her ambitions and accompanied her on location during early film shoots. Publicly available reports have associated her with actor Pavan Reddy, but those items are described as rumours in available material.

Latest updates

Sri Satya continued to be active across mediums through 2022, appearing in the second season of Thondara Padaku Sundara Vadhana and entering Bigg Boss Telugu 6 as a contestant. Her trajectory from pageant winner to working model, television actress and reality show participant demonstrates a steady expansion of her public profile in Telugu entertainment.
