Sriya Reddy was born on 28 November 1983 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She grew up in the city where she attended Good Shepherd School and later graduated from Ethiraj College for Women. From an early age she showed an interest in sports and represented her school at the state level. Cricket has long been one of her passions.

Career
