Early life and background

Sudeep Nagarkar was born on 26 February 1988 in Mumbai. He grew up in the Mumbai/Thane area and completed his schooling at St. John the Baptist High School, Thane. He went on to study electronic engineering at Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai, earning a Bachelor of Technology. Later he completed an MBA in Business Management from the Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai.

Career

After finishing his MBA, Sudeep began working for an IT company. While keeping a journal during his college years, he transformed personal entries into his first novel. His debut book, Few Things Left Unsaid, was published in July 2011. A year later he released his second novel, That's the Way We Met. The success of his early work prompted him to leave his IT job and pursue writing full time.

Over the years Sudeep built a reputation as a writer of contemporary romance. His published novels include It Started with a Friend Request, You're the Password to My Life, You Are Trending in My Dreams, and She Swiped Right Into My Heart. You're the Password to My Life sold over 10,000 copies before it was formally released.

Beyond novels, Sudeep has contributed to visual storytelling. He has written scripts for Marathi shows and has penned stories for Indian television serials broadcast on channels such as Colours TV and Sony TV. He has also participated as a jury member for the Amazon KDP Pen to Publish program since its launch in 2022.
