Surbhi Chandna was born on 11 September 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in the city she still calls home, she completed her college education at the Atharva Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai. From an early stage she showed an interest in performance: during her college years she took part in the Indian Princess contest and began appearing in advertising assignments that introduced her to the entertainment world.

Career

Chandna began her on-screen career with a small television appearance in 2009 on the long-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She moved gradually into more substantial parts and secured a notable film role in Bobby Jasoos (2014) where she played Aamna Khan.
