Swathi Das Prabhu was born on 18 May in Kanhangad, Kerala. He spent part of his schooling at Sharjah Indian School before pursuing higher education in India. He completed a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from SRM University, Chengalpattu, and went on to earn an M.A. in Cinema and Television Production from Sacred Heart College, Thevara. His mother, Pushpa Prabhakaran, is a music teacher, and he has a sister named Swaralaya Prabhakaran.

Career

Prabhu has built a career in Malayalam cinema and digital series, often appearing in supporting roles. He made his film debut in 2019 with Virus, in which he played a friend of the character Unnikrishnan. The same year he acted in the web series Double Decker on Flowers TV.
