Sweta Keswani Andino was born on 19 August 1980 in Delhi and raised in Mumbai. She attended Utpal Sanghvi School in Mumbai and went on to study at MMK College in Bandra. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce and also trained at the Stella Adler School in New York. Her family includes her mother, Shakun Keswani, and her late father, Suresh Keswani. She has a brother named Sumeet Keswani.

Keswani learned classical and contemporary dance as a child, studying Kathak for six years at the Sangit Mahabharati Institute in Mumbai and later training in jazz with Shiamak Davar. Early stage experience came through school plays and community theatre, activity that preceded her move into television.

Career

Sweta Keswani made her acting debut on Hindi television in 1999 with the Doordarshan drama Abhimaan, playing the character Dolly Tyagi. Over the following years she became known for roles in mainstream Hindi serials, including appearances on StarPlus shows such as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, and she also featured in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby.

Her on-screen work extended beyond serials.
