Tribhuvaneshwar Saran Singh Deo, commonly known as T. S. Singh Deo, was born on 31 October 1952 in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh. He went on to study at Hindu College, Delhi University, and later at Government Hamidiya Arts & Commerce Degree College, Bhopal University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1972 and a Master of Arts in 1975.
