Travis Robertson Biography

Travis Robertson is a Canadian filmmaker, YouTuber and entrepreneur best known for founding Robertson Films and directing the feature A Way Of Life (2021),

Early life and background

Travis Robertson was born on March 2, 1997, in Ottawa, Canada. From an early age he showed an interest in visual storytelling: at seven he began making Lego stop-motion films, an early practice that introduced him to the mechanics of directing and editing. A camera gifted to him as a child helped him move beyond toy productions and experiment with real recording equipment, and he developed his technical skills through hands-on practice rather than formal schooling.

Career

Robertson has built a public profile as a filmmaker, content creator and entrepreneur. He established Robertson Films, a production company that focuses on original film projects, and expanded his presence as a creator on platforms such as YouTube. His work spans short-form online content and longer narrative projects aimed at streaming audiences.

In 2021 Robertson released his first feature film, A Way Of Life, which became available on Amazon Prime Video. The film was shot with a very small cast and crew; Robertson has spoken about the compact production, which involved four actors and a minimal technical team working under tight time constraints. The credited lead performers on the project include Gracie Mack, Russell Barth, Steve Kasan and Michael Lake. In discussing the film he thanked collaborators and emphasized pride in what the team achieved given the modest resources and condensed shooting schedule.

Public profile

Robertson presents himself across multiple online platforms. He maintains an Instagram presence and a company website for Robertson Films. He is also listed on IMDb, where his film credits and related project pages are available. Physically, public profiles note that he is 6 feet 2 inches tall with blue eyes and brown hair.

Latest updates

As of 2021, A Way Of Life represents Robertson’s first feature-length release and a milestone for Robertson Films. His trajectory reflects a progression from childhood experiments with stop-motion to creating and distributing a feature on a major streaming service. Ongoing online activity and the existence of a company website indicate he continues to develop projects as a filmmaker and content creator.
