Before entering entertainment full time, she spent time in the hospitality sector with a three-year internship at The Oberoi Hotels in Jaipur and subsequently worked at an ITC hotel.

Career
Kapoor began her professional life as a model under Elite Model Management, working with designers such as Payal Singhal and Sailex Nairangbam and appearing in television commercials for brands including Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk, Oppo, and Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri Jewellery. Her screen career started with television work, including a 2009 appearance in Specials @ 10 as Rajuben.

Her film debut came in 2013 with the Hindi feature Shuddh Desi Romance, a role that brought early industry recognition.
