Early life and background
Vedant R. Patel was born in 1989 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. His family moved to the United States when he was a child; his parents relocated to San Jose, California, in 1991. He grew up speaking multiple languages, including Gujarati, Spanish and English.

Patel completed undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Riverside and later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.
